The pie chart indicates the percentages of the areas of 10 wards in Sapporo city.

The largest three Wards are Minami, Nishi, and Kita-Ward. These wards occupy approximately 70 percent of all wards. Especially Minami-Ward is the biggest. This area is 60 percent of all.

Next, the second biggest three wards of similar size. Kiyota, Teine, and Higashi-Ward. These areas are of medium size, between 5,000 and 6,000 hectares, They occupy about 15 percent of the city.

Chuo and Toyohira Ward are also of similar size. These areas are smaller than the previous three wards. The smallest two wards are Shiroishi and Atsubetsu-Ward. These areas are tiny. These two areas occupy only 5 percent of the city.

In conclusion, the biggest three wards, Minami, Nishi, and Kita occupy about 70 percent of the city. The second biggest three wards, Kiyota, Teine, and Higashi are of proximate sizes, they’re 15 percent in total. The smallest two wards are Shiroishi and Atsubetsu-Ward.
