Dear Diary,

Shinichi awoke at 1:00 a.m. Japan Standard Time (GST+9)! That’s amazing, but he doesn’t have insomnia. How is Shinichi able to maintain his exceptional performance? He has calculated his sleep schedule carefully.

In the 1990s, people didn’t have access to the Internet. Most of them had to stick to a fixed sleep schedule, like sleeping between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Consequently, some people who worked irregularly hadn’t slept well at their best time.

But nowadays, in the 2020s, Shinichi started to focus on how some people can utilize a flexible work schedule. In fact, the number of people who work with other countries’ staff online. Also, in some jobs, workers can work anytime if they keep the deadline.

For example, general workers should go to their office between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. But flexible workers can combine office and remote as a hybrid. As a result, they can help with housework too. A couple of workers can share their private time.

Shinichi designated to sleep his core times in his daily life. To illustrate, when Shinichi went to bed at 6:00 p.m., he slept between 6:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. Conversely, when Shinichi went to bed at 10:00 p.m., he slept between 10:00 p.m. and 4:00 a.m. In his core time, he keeps six hours for sleeping.

In addition, Shinichi has epilepsy. People with epilepsy struggle with their sleepiness. One of the reasons is the side effects of medicines. But Shinichi, he overturned by such a flexible schedule.

To summarize, a flexible schedule can adjust to their condition. Shinichi utilizes such schedule maintenance (He calls it Chrono-Magic).
