Q: Some companies are promoting flexible working time for employees. On the other hand, some essential workers should work at a fixed time. Do the advantages outweigh the disadvantages? Write at least 250 words.

With the development of information technology, some companies are increasingly promoting staggered working hours. Some essential workers, such as hospitals, must do many tasks while working in their fixed time. In my view, flexible time will ensure various working styles. This essay will explain the advantages of flexible time.

On the one hand, there are several drawbacks to working on a fixed time. First, some workers feel stressed because of such an unfair schedule. For example, some workers with families should prepare for work and care for their families. For this reason, such workers would be exhausted. As a result, they can not enhance their morale such workers leave the workplace. Also, most workers should arrive at their workplace at the same time. Some congestions occur in public transportation by a lot of passengers. These congestions make result in crime and mental diseases. Typically, most office starts at nine o’clock. and finishes at five o’clock. For this reason, workers should endure stress from transportation. As a result, they can not enjoy holidays such as playing with children.

On the other hand, flexible working has a lot of benefits. First, some people who live with children or the elderly can adjust to the schedule. In general, most primary school starts at 9:00 a.m. According to the proverb, A well-slept child is a well-kept child. As this proverb means, children can not study for a long time because sleeping durations are more important than adults. Also, some adults who work with flexible time can assist their children by doing their work. As a result, they can enjoy holidays such as playing with children. They can learn from each other.

To sum up, flexible working has some advantages outweighing disadvantages.
