Q: Some restaurants started to offer online menus for customers. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Write at least 250 words.

With the spreading of the Internet, most restaurants began to use online menus. I agree with providing online menus to customers. This essay will explain both perspectives on using online menus.

On the one hand, there are several drawbacks to using online menus. First, some customers may spend a lot of time selecting the food. For example, some customers are not good at using devices like computers. In particular, in some unfamiliar restaurants, restaurants have to spend a long time selecting food. Staff also have to spend a lot of time explaining the food. Consequently, restaurants may spend a lot of time.

On the other hand, there are some advantages to using the online menu. First, some restaurants can reduce their initial costs. For instance, customers can order food without waiters. For such reasons, restaurants can reduce costs by keeping the quality of services. Next, some customers can select foods at their speed. For instance, customers can check the menu before getting into the restaurant.

For this reason, customers and restaurants can choose the best food for each other. Third, customers can avoid unsafe food by themselves. Some customers have food allergies, such as to eggs. Before going restaurant, customers can grasp the allergy information. Consequently, they can convey the allergy to the restaurant staff.

In conclusion, some restaurants need to use their online menus. Customers can short the time to select foods beforehand. Overall, I partly agree with using the online menu for customers.
