Q: Lately, some people who rethink the excellent effects of radio are increasing. Give your reasons and opinions (The number of words is unlimited).

Nowadays, people can get a lot of information via the Internet spreading. Some traditional media are struggling, but some radio broadcasting offices have successful unique programmes. I believe that radio broadcasting has three potential advantages. This essay will explain these three merits.

First, listeners can obtain essential information through the radio. For example, some radio programmes contain weather and traffic information. Listeners who are driving a car can avoid congestion. All Radio programmes consist of an accurate schedule. Listeners can know what time is now. Also, listeners can take emergency information quickly. Most radio provides emergency information when disasters such as earthquakes happen. Moreover, people can listen to the radio without power, such as blackouts occurring with tornados. Consequently, listeners can take appropriate information through the radio.

Next, listeners can interact with radio personalities through the programmes. For instance, music programmes offer the opportunity for excellent listeners to request their favourite songs. Besides, radio personalities can also read the requested messages from listeners. These situations are familiar more than TV programmes. As a result, radio broadcasting can make credible programmes.

Finally, listeners can learn knowledge through educational programmes. NHK: Japanese broadcasting corporation offers radio channels for learning various languages, such as English, French, and Spanish. Moreover, people can listen to the world news through the internet radio, such as BBC, and CNN. For this reason, people can learn about many social issues from various perspectives.

Overall, radio has three advantages as I mentioned. For these reasons, I believe that radio offers beneficial information to listeners.
