Q: Most people think living in the same house makes a great life. On the other hand, some people think they should have a private room. Do the advantages outweigh the disadvantages? Write at least 250 words.

In general, most people think it makes a wonderful life to live in the same house as their partner. But lately, some people have started thinking about living in a different house. I think living in different rooms in an apartment building makes a good relationship. This essay will explain both perspectives on living in separate rooms.

On the one hand, two people can keep the best distance from their partners or spouses. First, they do not need to decide the time at which they must go back home. Couples can do housework at their paces. Even if one of them goes back home late at night, they do not need to complain about the other’s housework skills. Thus, they can keep their lifestyles. Next, they can give helpful advice to each other. For example, if one of the couples is not good at tidying up rooms, the partner can give them a hint or idea, such as leading a simple life. Even if they live in separate rooms, they can easily connect in the same apartment. As a result, they can respect each other’s lifestyles.

On the other hand, there are several drawbacks to living in separate rooms. First, they must pay for both rents. As a result, the total cost would be higher than living in the same house. Next, one partner may make a relationship with some friends. This could be misunderstood. Finally, children may be confused about their parents. To illustrate, if children obtain different advice from their parents, they might be confused about which is correct.

To sum up, I think living in a separate room makes a good relationship. Couples can keep an appropriate distance. They can still help and give hints to each other. Overall, they can enjoy their individual lives.
