Shopping is an attractive event for people with ASD and ADHD. For instance, some people with ASD always watch specific items in the same corner. Conversely, some people with ADHD prefer to explore the whole mall. We can find several tips concealed in these features for shopping with such individuals.
Like a hybrid, I have two characteristics ASD and ADHD. Both characters sometimes conflict in my brain while shopping. In my childhood, I was sparking joy with toys or confectioneries stands. I tended to stick to a few specific corners whenever my family went shopping with me. Likewise, I can spend more than an hour in a large electronics store and bookstore. For such reasons, it is easy for me to understand the value of a product. As a result, I could conserve to purchase books or electronic devices soon. Also, in the supermarket, I would go straight to some specific corners when buying designated ingredients. Due to my ASD brain, I can quickly identify these ingredients.
In contrast, my ADHD brain would be fascinated with whole items. As it happens, I sometimes encounter sophisticated designed clothes in outlet clothes stores. I have sometimes been confused about how much I should purchase that clothes. I would buy those clothes immediately when I sparked joy in them. Consequently, I often have miscalculated my budgets.
Internet shopping has drastically changed shopping styles today. Shoppers with ASD and ADHD can compare multiple prices on the same item. Consequently, they can estimate the range of prices between minimum and maximum. In this way, I take precautions when shopping.
