Q: The line graph shows the population of three cities in Japan. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. Write at least 150 words.

The line graph compares the population of three cities in Japan, Sendai, Hiroshima, and Fukuoka. In the decade between 1995 and 2005.

Overall, the population in all cities increased. In particular, the number of people in Fukuoka gradually increased by 0.2 million this decade. This city’s population has kept at 1.2 million this decade. Also, people in Sendai reached one million in the first five years. In contrast, Hiroshima was stable in this decade.

Between 1995 and 2000, the number of people in Fukuoka and Sendai gradually increased. Remarkably, the number of people in Fukuoka increased with keeping by 0.1 million within these five years. Also, people in Sendai are over one million. In Hiroshima, people slightly increased by approximately seventeen thousand.

From 2000 to 2005, people in Fukuoka over for more than 1.3 million. People in Hiroshima were stable during these five years. That slightly increased by about ten thousand people. In 2005, people in Hiroshima were over 1.1 million.
